It's Here! The Strides 2023 Ballroom Activity Guide

No matter if you want to improve your dancing skills in the New Year, enjoy the dance floor with friends and meet new people, or push yourself to reach your personal best. Jennifer and Taylor plan to help you Find Your Stride in 2023. 

Check out all of the fun dancing activities we have planned for the New Year. Group classes for everyone from Level 1 (beginner), Level 2, to Level 3 (Intermediate). Teacher supervised weekly dance practice parties to practice what you have learned and meet others also learning to ballroom dance, as well as the 'Tis the Season Ball will be back in 2023 as our year end formal to benefit the Alzheimer's Assoc. of Colorado. Plus, opportunities to shine on the dance floor with competitions and the annual Find the Star Within Showcase.

Strides Ballroom Dance Parties & Practices

Weekly Dance Practice Wednesday Nights 8pm-9:30pm
A mid-week opportunity to practice what you are learning, Jennifer and Taylor

are available to dance and/or help answer questions, 90% ballroom dances

(smooth, rhythm, latin, ballroom) and `10% nightclub dance music. Come with a

partner, switch partners, or practice your

dancing solo, all are welcome.

Admission: $8/ per person
Free if you attend the Level 1 or Level 2 group class.

An elegant evening of dance to benefit the Alzheimer's Association

of Colorado Chapter

organized and sponsored by Strides Ballroom

Dress up and bring your friends for an evening of ballroom dancing, all proceeds will go to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Good music, light appetizers, and an amazing evening of dancing to benefit a wonderful organization. 

 

Competitions & Showcases

Everyone deserves a chance to shine. All levels of dancers can take part in competitions and showcases. Participating in these activities are a fun way to improve your technique and style. Create a goal and dance in a competition or showcase in the new year. 

Start planning your showcase piece. Do you have a favorite song you have been wanting to dance to? Showcases are the perfect way to have your teacher choreograph something special just for you, to be performed for friends, family, and other dance enthusiasts. The Find the Star Within Showcase in September is an especially wonderful and supportive environment for dancers of all levels to perform.
